NAS Pensacola Air Show 2011
Titled as the 'Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show', Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola on the Gulf Coast of Florida, USA opened its doors for a spectacular event on November 11-12. Over 180,000 people visited this great two-day show and witnessed a mixture of both modern and historic aircraft on display.
NAS Jacksonville Air Show 2011
Celebrating a 100 Years of Naval Aviation, NAS Jacksonville on the Florida East Coast opened its doors to the public on November 5-6. The NAS Jax Air Show 2011 was held for the 28th time in history and welcomed back the Blue Angels to their initial birthplace. Despite the chilling temperatures of 15°C or less during the weekend, well over 200.000 people attended the air show that brought two days of exciting flying performances and static displays.
NATO Tiger Meet 2011
A major milestone has been reached as the NATO Tiger Association (NTA) celebrated its 50th anniversary at the NATO Tiger Meet 2011. Escadron de Chasse (EC) 01.012 had the honor to host this year's edition of the world famous annual exercise among NATO tiger squadrons. From May 9th, Base Aérienne (BA) 103 Cambrais-Epinoy in the North of France welcomed over 60 aircraft from 15 countries for arguably the largest European flying exercise in 2011.
